Don't sleep on a Train

So we had a pretty sick week. Met this couple that lives in this pueblito outside of Jerez, but it's pretty close to ubrique! Which is awesome cause we are working on getting our goal of a branch over in ubrique. Yes all the members might all end up being recent converts, but God will figure out a way to make it work.

Miracle:

So we finally got to meet with Jon and his family in person. His family is the one we met here in jerez but they lived in chiclana, so we were going to give them to the hermanas in chiclana, but they got transferred to a new area so now we are also working in the area of chiclana and we get to teach them. We got to go spend the night over in chiclana cause I mean there was an empty missionary piso there. Which actually turned out to be a miracle because on our way there we ran into jon's wife and his baby dilan while we were both getting off the train, but we didn't see jon so we asked her where he was and then she turns around and looks everywhere and looks more confused than us. Suddenly she starts yelling at the people to stop the train but the train had already closed the doors and took off. Jon being Jon didn't respond to his phone for about 10 minutes because he had fallen asleep on the train right towards the end and was sitting on the other side of the train cause he had the baby stroller. Next thing we know the train taking him over to the Islands and we had to sit and wait for him to get back. Which you would think he gets off on the next stop turns around then comes back one stop. But he was such a genius he went back and passed the same stop 2 before getting on the tram to come meet us. I got to say tho when we got to the end he had the biggest smile on his face just laughing at all of us, and just simply asked, so did you miss me? It was pretty funny and we ended up getting to the member's flat an hour and a half late. I loved it tho. It gave us the chance to teach the mom about eternal families and the importance of Christ in our lives. They are from Colombia so Christ is pretty centered in their lives already but when you add the gospel of Christ to that love they already have it's pretty cool to watch. Plus the members we met are so awesome. The son, edwin, is about to get baptized!! So we get to teach him the lessons about baptism!

Scripture of the week:

Amos 8:11-12

Finally we have the gospel of Christ restored to the earth and we get to feel his love because of it, as we learn more and more. Especially from the prophet! Can't wait to get to watch general conference this week!

Miss everyone!

Love y'all!!
