Baptism and a Transfer
So this week was a lot, none stop work with members and friends, but it was fun. We also got the transfer calls and I'm leaving Molina de Segura!!! Definitely going to miss this place a ton! The people here have changed my life forever. I couldn't thank them enough and I'm so sad to leave them. But don't worry, we partied hard for my last week. And worked a little too. So today I have so much to say so sorry if it gets long I'll try to keep it shorter but there were so many miracles. So we started off the week going to Madrid again!! I spend way too much time there. And when we got to the train station we found a stranded Elder there all alone, Elder ward!! He's one of my really good friends and he's such a beast of a missionary. He got called to be AP so he was having to travel. Loved getting to talk to him some more and learn from him. Also when we got to the end of the train ride and the other APs were suppose to pick him up we realized his phone wasn't working so we were able to call them from our phones just a little miracle to get elder ward home safely. Next on Thursday God decided to give us a miracle day. We asked our matrimonio to come and help us drive to some of our outside pueblos and we found 6 new people to go back to church and they all came this Sunday. One of them we didn't have his number so we couldn't call him Thursday morning to set up a cita. But as we had just started planning we got a text from him saying that he hasn't met with the missionaries in so long and he wants to come back to church! It was quite the miracle. We got to meet with him that day and it was amazing. We also met with Norma and her family this week and her daughter, Sami, made me a card! One of the best parts of being a missionary. I also got to run into Delaney my friend from college in Madrid haha pretty crazy to see someone from back home.I'm getting transferred!! I'm going to Fuengirola. Definitely very excited to go back to the beach. My new comp will be Elder Dominguez and he's on his last transfer so I will be killing him off! But I'm so excited to learn from him. I couldn't be luckier to be anywhere else. I know this is where God needs me to be and can't wait to see the miracles that happen there.
Miracle:
Okay obviously there was a lot this week and even more than this, but Saturday Andrea got baptized and confirmed!! I'm so excited for her! She is only ten years old and has had a tough situation, but I felt so lucky to get the chance to baptize her. It's going to be hard to say bye to her and her family, but it makes me feel a lot better that she has the companion of the holy ghost constantly with her. She gave a testimony afterwards of how she felt happy as she came out of the water. She said she felt like Jesus was standing right next to her at that moment. So happy for Andrea and her family.
Scripture of the week:
Acts 2:36-38- There is always an answer, choose to follow Christ.
Moroni 10:4- Ask with real intent.
Miss everyone!
Love y'all!!
