Start with Hope

What a week! Kind of flew by. Love every second though. Okay I won't bore you with too much talking. But this week I really have seen how amazing our members are. They work hard to be able to be where they are in life and in the church. They definitely aren't perfect but neither am I.

After watching the talk by Elder Uchtdorf in the April 2016 general conference I was thinking about the parable of the lost sheep a lot this week. Christ will find us and save us. No matter what. What we can do to show our love for Christ is try. Even if we don't have faith or can't be able to find the faith to believe, we can start out with hope. I love that talk and obviously I don't say it as well as he did, so you should go watch it.

Our friends are doing good right now. Praying for God to give them a little extra push. But I know God has a plan for all of them and I know with certainty that they will come to Christ one day. I just want them to be happy. That is one thing that I have seen the biggest difference in my own life and in the lives of every person I have met here. The light of Christ can bring happiness to your life. I hope you let it.

Miracle:

Getting a lesson to happen with our friends can be hard sometimes. Especially these last couple of weeks, it has seemed nearly impossible. But God blessed us with the ability to meet with one of our friends who we hadn't seen in almost a month. We got someone to pick us up and take us to go pick him up and we even got to do the lesson in a member's home. Everything finally worked out, and the lesson was amazing! So excited to get to meet with him again.

Scripture of the week: 1 Nephi 10:19

1

For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.

Miss everyone!

Love y'all!!
