Madrid Again

 

This week became travel week for us. We headed to Madrid again. I've been to Madrid now 4 times on my mission and I've only been on this mission for a couple weeks. This time it was to get my residency here in Spain. It was a fun trip, I mean nothing beats getting to go to the temple. We always got to give a bunch of our friends temple tours over videocall. Sadly because of all the traveling we didn't get to meet with many people, friends or members. Luckily we had the opportunity to have stake conference this week. So we headed back to Mar Menor again!! I love that place, it's beautiful. Even better I got to see all my member friends. Juan Luis and Jesus came and said hi to me in the back for a little. They are crazy though.

Miracle:

My miracle this week was Tuesday. We got the opportunity to go out! We headed to Las Torres and met with every member we could there. Days are better when we meet with people. As much as technology is great, for me nothing can replace meeting in person. We met with Isaac's family. Then Juan Perez and his wife. After we headed over to Luis and Patricia's. Helped Juan Luis with some hw, more like he helped me with some spanish. Then finally went to Salvador's house and ate dinner with them. I couldn't tell you what was in that salad but it was good. Salvador made me pour a bowl of olive oil on my plate before eating it though. Then adding to the miracles our bus didn't come. What a blessing because we got to call Salvador (who luckily was awake) and they picked us up and took us home, which meant we just got to talk to them more. Meeting with members and having them be a part of the missionary work is probably my favorite part of the mission. Hope we can work with them even more these next few weeks!
