Miracles

Elder Larkins and Jordan

Apparently all they do is party and eat food here in Spain. This week was Murcia week or something like that apparently. We went for one day with our ward and got so much food. They feast here in Spain. I love it though. This week we got to see so many miracles. We always ended up seeing our friends all around town and get to even play some sports with them. Everyday is a mystery, you think nothing is going to really happen then God drops 3 miracles in your lap. I got to say I love this mission.

Miracle:

Okay if I said every miracle we had this week I could actually write a book. And I don't have the time or patience for that so I'll tell you this story. On Tuesday was the day of flowers in Murcia. So everyone within an hour of Murcia went there and wore flower dresses or vests. They get with family and friends and eat and dance and just hang out. Well our ward invited us to go eat with them so we picked up our friend Samyr and walked to the bus stop. We'll we ended up waiting for the bus for two hours. We had two buses pass but were full of so many people they couldn't take us. But it's always God's plan no matter what so we had faith and our friend Sori pulled up next to us! She hopped out to say hi and ask us to give her mom, her, and her house all blessings! We got to meet her whole family actually with her daughter and her kids. Hoping we can be able to teach her family all lessons and share some joy with them. Then after she left we started walking to another bus station and our friend Kevin yelled at me from across the street. We walked over and he asked to play soccer. So we played with him for awhile then our bus finally came and we made it to Murcia. Never could imagine what happened all in that day for us. You may want something to happen but God knows what is best for you so just trust and live in the moment.

Scripture of the week: Matthew 4:22

Follow Christ and His example. If we always let the spirit guide us, then miracles will happen before your eyes.

Miss everyone!!

Love yall!!

  1. Elder Larkins-- you're looking great ! Looks like you are eating very well--face is filling out :)-- What a blessing to have such wonderful members and friends in the area you're serving. You've known through your upbringing that service always brings joy and happiness. The Lord loves you and wants the best for you as you genuinely share His gospel to those that can benefit from coming closer to Christ.

Hope the Spanish is coming along for you. So happy you're able to have Spanish companions-- That's great-

Wishing and always praying for the best for you-
