How y'all doing?
Okay life
was kind of back to normal this week. I mean normal mission life, because the mission is still
pretty crazy. This week we had exchanges so I got to go back to Mar Menor! I
love that place and the people there and I've only been there two days. This
time I sadly was not with Elder Compton, which I won't lie I was bummed about
but I got to meet Elder Vandenakker. He's such a stud of a missionary. He also
leaves soon so definitely going to miss those guys. My friend Joaquin took us
everywhere again and we got to hang out with Taimi and Alvaro again! That lunch
was so good! Taimi even taught us a lesson about why it is important to go to
church every week. I really learned so much during that exchange and couldn't
be more grateful for the opportunities I have on this mission.
Miracle:
My miracle of the week if I could choose one is we had a JA (Young Adults)
activity! It's been a long time waiting and working to have one. It definitely
took God's hand to make it work out. When we first got to the park it was hot,
no one was there, and there wasn't much of a park, just one hoop with dirt
around it. After a couple minutes though we had one by one tons of people show
up and ended up with a pretty good group. We played a lot of basketball and got
to meet a bunch of new people. My mission president said that a strong JA
equals a strong ward. I couldn't agree more and I'm so excited to work with
them to help grow our ward.
Scripture of the Week: Moroni 7:33
Have faith. I got to have a conversation with this man from Alemania
(Germany) and we talked on the important things in life. Can't really say his name, but he was awesome. He's grown up catholic his entire life, but we were able to talk and become friends over the love of Christ. There is only peace in the love of Christ and that's what this world needs. Love one another, no matter what and try to be the examples of Christ that we are meant to be.
Miss everyone!!
Love y'all!
