Happy Easter

What yall know about Semana Santa? But like actually I had no idea what was going on. It's one of the biggest holidays here in Spain and man it definitely did not disappoint. Processions every night with huge parades and floats. People go crazy!! And everyone spends the week with family and friends. Meaning we didn't get to meet with many people but the lessons we did have were amazing. They are kind of my miracles this week cause every single one came up at the last minute of everyday. Every time we ate it felt like a miracle to have food. And man Spaniards can cook, they also love lunch and I love lunch so it really works out great. One of the members asked me why I don't speak more and I just had to tell him that I just like eating his wife's cooking too much. He also told me I need a gut of happiness like him. I told him I'm working on it.

But man Easter on the mission is something different. We got the opportunity to teach a couple of families of His resurrection and had a really good conversation with them about what we celebrate on Easter and why we go on missions. One of the members family actually had their daughter come home from her mission in France so she got to share some experiences with us and the importance of changing even just one life in her mission. Hoping that her testimony got to some of her relatives.

Miracle:

The mission gets better everyday, it's the truth. So this actually happened late on Monday when we were headed home from Murcia.  My comp and I were walking back and I saw this moving truck full of stuff. And you know being born and raised in the church, I was born and raised to move people in and out of homes. So I said we should go ask them if they needed any help and seeing as it was only two guys doing this whole truck we figured they would accept. Then one of the ladies yelled "missionaries". Apparently they knew of us, though none of them were members but they all were excited to have the help. Luckily one more guy was upstairs at the apartment getting stuff situated. We found out we were moving in a mom, her daughter, and her daughter's daughter. They are the best people but I'll get to that later. It was definitely fun getting to talk with all the guys learn where they are from. Two of the guys were hired workers and the other was a friend of the daughter. The mother didn't really have too much faith but I kept telling her don't worry I've had much worse then this. It's true us members are crazy movers. We should not be fitting that much in a house. I mean this lady only had one fridge, it was easy. The workers left after everything was out of the truck so we ended up really only having us 3 taking stuff up but God provides a way. Everything fit and the family was very happy. The whole thing definitely might of made us a little late to our curfew. Sorry but I mean who was going to be the one to tell the daughter we had to leave and let her get the fridge up there alone. She said we had to eat and drink something before we went so we talked for a little and they insisted we come over again to have a big mediodia with them and also just to come over whenever we want. I mean you are practically family after moving someone in. I'm really excited to be able to share this gospel with them and give them the opportunity to feel God's love for them. (Mosiah 2:17)

Scripture of the week: Moroni's promise

Moroni 10:3-5

This gospel is a personal gospel. It is about having the opportunity to grow your own testimony. To believe Christ's gospel for yourself not because of anyone else. Nothing can bring happiness into your life like the love of God and His gospel. But don't take that from me, I know nothing, I'm just some kid on a mission. If you have a desire or question go find the answer for yourself.

Miss everyone!

Love y'all!!
