What's Good!

Us and the Women's Choir

This week was amazing! Started out with exchanges with our zone leaders. So I got to go to Mar Menor for Monday night and all of Tuesday. It was the best day. The chapel there is huge! They say it's the best one in Spain and I definitely believe them. I got paired up with Elder Compton. He's such a stud. He taught me so much, sadly this man is going to be leaving me soon. But we definitely made the most of the day. Definitely the biggest highlight was getting to meet a Women's Choir. They needed space to practice so we offered to open up the church for them. None of them are members and they are from all over the world! There was about 25 of them there. One is even from New York. Hadn't met someone from the states before. The rest were from 9 different countries. They were also having a couple more come to try out. We offered to try out but sadly it's an only women choir. Definitely got a picture after though. The rest of this week has been crazy! We had zone conference this last Friday. I always love getting to hear from President and Sister Hamilton. They have such a great vision for our mission. Hopefully my comp and I can try to make it happen here in Molina.

 Miracle:

My comp and I have been teaching our friend Samyr now for a while. And finally we have gotten the opportunity to set up the baptism. He had quite a few challenges to get through before being able to be baptized, however I know God has seen his desire to become a part of this gospel. So even though it took a lot of trial and error, we finally got it scheduled and are so excited for him. He has such a love for Christ and he always tells me how he can feel peace in his heart when we are teaching him about Christ.

Scripture of the Week: Matthew 13:8

This was in last week's come follow me, so I know most people have already heard it. For those of you who have not it's about what people must do to be converted. The verse puts it into 3 parts "see with their eyes, and hear with their ears". This week though I focused on the last part "understand with their heart". Most of the time in life we think we understand things with the knowledge of our minds. We believe that we must understand that all with our mind. But as Christ teaches all we have to do is understand with our hearts. All it takes is having and acting on the faith we have in our hearts.

Missing everyone!

(including you Ryder hoping you are having fun in 6th grade and killing it in baseball! We are definitely going boating when I get back)

Love y'all!
