Love You!
Elder Power, Elder Roberts, Elder Jensen, and Elder Larkins
This
week was really life-changing. I don't know how to describe it fully. It was
definitely a harder week but also better at the same time. Learning so much
everyday from the Lord, my teachers and my district. But then again can't
complain about life it's pretty amazing and definitely have to cherish every
moment. My comp Elder Jensen is pretty funny. Couldn't ask for a better comp
for mtc. He's got such a strong faith in Christ that he shares with everyone.
And really everyone. Our district got to hang out in the snow for a little
while today too which was new. Elder Stewart got to see snow fall for the first
time. He couldn't stop smiling. We tossed our zone leader into the snow. Overall
great night. And great week.
No I didn't forget anything more at home I think.
Miracle:
Elder Jensen and I were able to teach our first lesson in Spanish. It was crazy. Mostly cause that morning I really thought to myself the amount I could speak spanish was little to none. However, the gift of tongues is real and I know that to be true now. Our lesson ended up going really well or at least we hope still waiting on that review. But either way the spirit was so strong. I couldn't help but smile a little after every questioned we answered or part we shared. I know it was solely through the power of God that I was able to do that. But it was a miracle I got to experience first hand and see as it was happening which was truly a beautiful thing.
Scripture: Ether 12
I would say Ether 12 in total is such a great chapter to read, but in this case I'm focusing on verse 6 and 27. In verse 6 I feel it explains faith so well. Faith is something not seen. Also faith is also something that must be acted on. Because that is what faith is. Without the action it would only be hope in something. But, faith in Jesus Christ comes from working on our faith, and only after will we be able to recieve a witness of truth. In verse 27 it talks of God showing us our weaknesses so we can be humble in this world. Because his grace is sufficient truly. All we have to do is humble ourselves before God and have faith in Him, and he will make these weaknesses into strengths. In all parts of life you will see so many blessings by giving all glory to God, as it is by His power that we can do all.
Miss everyone! Love y'all!
